I believe people should be free to boycott whatever they feel should be boycotted. They have the right to choose what they watch and how they spend their money. So long as they do not try to tell me what I must or must not watch, I have no problem with it. I personally have no reason to boycott Ellen Degeneres. It neither breaks my legs nor picks my pocket whether a person is gay, straight, bisexual, white, black, Christian, or pagan.

Does not watching TV at all count?
As a Christian, even if I had a chance to watch TV I wouldn't chose to watch Ellen. She IS very funny and talented. Sometimes it is hard to give up stuff like her show and movies that are really good. But the thing I ask myself is, is watching this show or movie glorifying God? if not then I do my best to stay away.
I hope this helps.

I am not boycotting anyone. I just don't watch much TV.I do tend to change the channel when there is something with a lot of vulgarity in it.

I won't watch The View. All those gabby women
talk at the same time and the audience doesn't
know what anyone is saying (except Rosie who
takes over).

Are you some religious crackpot? Wait, that's a dumb and unnecessary question. Of course you are. Else, you wouldn't be asking something this asinine. Ellen Degeneres is a wondrous entertainer, and the fact that she's lesbian makes me love her more.

As an entertainer, this Ellen person doesn't make a difference to me one way or another.

Since I became a Christian I'm much more careful on what I watch. With all the garbage on tv these days,it's not easy. I have no use for Ellen DegeneRATE or Rosie O' Donnel and the like.. I'm content watching Andy Griffith reruns for that matter. At least it's more wholesome than anything on tv these days.

Well as one movie line put it...hypocritical squares...they get their entertainment from things or people they claim are morally repugnant whether they admit to it or not. She loaded she could probably not care if she was being boycotted or not. She has millions of loyal non-biased fans. So it wouldn't matter anyway. It wouldn't change her sexual orientation one bit. She gonna be lesbian and that's that.
Do you boycott Walmart for exploitation of Sweat Shops?

I boycott them all... all those with "alternative lifestyles! I'm not perfect, but I can still choose to boycott those who, in the public's eye, flagrantly display immoral lifestyles.
(And, personally, I can't stand Ellen Degeneres' humor!).

I think she is funny, a real talent. I wouldn't say I "boycott" her, no. I just don't watch her.
