I've never seen one. There is a little sign that hangs on a fence in back of a house that is next to a freeway I've been driving for about thirty years. It's black lettering on a white board that says "Jesus saves". It's been in the same place all these years. Every time I drive by, I say, "yes, He does!"

Jesus did no longer practice scripture by myself. and many what hes suggested and did is a element of our -- Catholic -- unwritten historic past. the hot testomony isn't a transcript of each and every 2d of Jesus's existence or ministry. this is the tale of the fondation and early formation of the catholic churhc. The Gosples are the speivifc trainng that Jesus first bishops recived at his hand -- He hadn alternatives them trains them appoints a pacesetter, ordains him is crucified rises style the ded and ordains the relax. Int he intervening time instuting the scaraments. The gosples are extra and description highlighten the main iimportant spects of Jesus's project which became to stumbled on His kingdom on earth, which incorporates teh instution of the sacraments. UNderstood in this contxt sripture makes suited experience. outdoors of this context this is not any longer smart and all sorts of errenous notions and missunderstandings are produced. This si why -- the context -- this is rather ordinary for a catholic to communicate a protestant particualrly the sola -scrupture or "fundies" becasue all of us be attentive to the trutht and the actual context so we've the fact with us, and can easliy straineout fake recommendations brough approximately via each and every indiviudal inperpting the owrds for themselves. So no no longer something ought to be extra advantageous fro the fact Jesu gave scripture this is marvelous and certainly exalted palce yet he did no longer show the concept of sola sripture or he might have wrote himslef, he might have spent his time writng and not fouodning he church. Sola scripture is a kind of idolatry which negates the actul jesus, aND UINDEED a private REALTIONSTHP WITH HIM that's barely obtainable contained in the direction of the sacrametns.. It elavtes the bible to the sataus of God. certainly many call it the be attentive to god while in fact weknow that jesus is the be attentive to god and the bible includes the words of god.

I think it is money well spent.

They might make people wonder what salvation is all about.

"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." Acts 16:31a

"and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free" John 8:32

To those who are seeking:
Study the bible for yourself, ask questions, check them against the word of God. Jesus shed His precious blood on the cross to save us from the penalty of our sin.

Hey, my soul was saved after I drove by one of those neon signs. Where would I be right now without it? Probably still here. But where will my soul be thanks to that neon sign? It's hard to say actually, my religion might change between now and when I die, seeing as I'm so easily influenced by large, colorful objects.

I know that no one needs to be saved. It is a free country and I will defend the right to having the signs, even if I disagree.

We need to start putting them up on all our government buildings and if the court case to take "In God We Trust" off our money wins, we should put "Jesus Saves" on the money instead.
That would AWESOME!!! Saves, get it? money? saves?

Depends on the color, artistry and location. There are a few in town that aren't very inspiring at all.

Unless these signs are being used by banks as a cynical ploy to attract christian customers then I think they are pretty harmless and maybe even inspirational to some people.
