Could be anything... high blood pressure, dehydration, (I know you said that you drink plenty but "plenty is a realative term) improper form causing a spasms or the like through your cervical vertebre, blood sugar issues or, could be symptomatic of some underlying health issue.
I don't know if you use energy drinks or anything like that or are taking any type of "energy" , "fat loss" , or thermogenic type products but often times those can cause headaches due to a raise in blood pressure
Hope this helps

You are getting a headache because of a sudden rise in blood pressure. Maybe you exercise at too high an intensity for your fitness level. Especially if you are trying hard to lose weight and are not used to regular exercise. Try slowing down a little on your exercise routine and build it up gradually. If this is not the cause, I would definately see your doctor, this would then be a sign of high blood pressure and can be dangerous if left untreated. Good luck, hope this helps, ELizabeth

I have the same issue and it's worse in the summer and hot sun. My blood pressure is on the low side of normal so it's not high blood pressure. I play tennis with a physician and she isn't alarmed that I take advil (it works) before I exercise or that exercise gives me a headache. It also helps when I eat some complex carbs (whole grain cereal) with some protein (soy milk) before I go. I also drink Gatorade or Propel during very hot, sunny days instead of water.

Are you exercising on an empty stomach? That would be a pretty likely cause. Are you warming up properly? Try getting a good stretch in, 10-20 minutes and a short jog, then start your workout. Those are probably the two biggest causes for headaches during workouts. Good luck with it.

I've had this same problem for years. I drink a ton of water all day and still, a few hours after I run, I get a headache.
To prevent this, I increased my electrolyte intake. Make sure you're getting potassium and sodium, not in excess, but in amounts that will keep your balance correctly. I suggest Propel water or the equivalent; it has few calories and the right balance of sodium and potassium. You can also get potassium supplements or eat more bananas, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc. Sodium -- well, you can salt anything to get a little of that. We get too much of that in general.
You can drink Gatorade or other sports drinks, but they're packed with sugar you don't need.

perhaps you do not have enough carbohydrates in your system, try eating some oatmeal, white rice, and or whole wheat bread these give you the fuel you need to have a good workout. If problem persists you should see a doctor because unless by chance you are not hydrated there might be something else wrong!

Just one more piece of advice.
Drink water BEFORE your workout. It takes time for the fluids to be processed into your body. Your body needs this water DURING the workout, so give the water a head start.

NO, YOUR HEADACHES ARE NOT FROM DRINKING THAT AMOUNT OF WATER. IF YO ARE HAVING BOWEL MOVEMENT PROBLEMS YOU ARE PROBABLY NOT EATING CORRECTLY. TOO MUCH SUGAR AND SIMPLE CARBS CAN GIVE YOU HEADACHES. IT ALSO COULD BE THAT IF SHE HAVE STOPPED EATING OR DRINKING SO MUCH SUGAR YOUR BODY IS GOING THROUGH A DETOX. YOUR HEADACHES SHOULD IMPROVE AS YOUR EATING AND DRINKING HABITS IMPROVE. GIVE IT A FEW DAYS. NO SODAS!!! 13 TEASPOONS OF SUGAR IN A REGULAR SODA. GOOD LUCK ON GETTING HEALTHY.

YOU NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR ASAP the vessels in your brain
normally dilate when under exertion just like all the other ones
throughout your body (that means they enlarge) to try and carry
more blood which equates to oxygen, you may have a problem
with your circulatory system or a chemical imbalance.
please see a Dr. soon. good luck, and let us know how it went.
