It is normal but I'd get it checked anyway to be on the safe side. Stay calm. Stress can cause miscarriage so I think you need to get it checked for that alone. Also if you are RhD negative you will need an anti-d injection after bleeding I had spotting at 6 weeks.. i then had bleeding for a month and went into labour at 20 weeks and because of the bleeding they couldn't stop or delay labour.. I'm sure you can guess what happened after that but do not let that worry you.

this depends on if you are having cramping with it. spotting is not good, but some women do this sometimes during pregnancy and there is no problem. Some women even have a full blown period. has your doctors office given you access to a nurse line for after hours? if they did call it. if you are feeling OK, like no cramping, or abdominal pain....relax for the rest of the day and drink plenty of water. call in the morning. I would at least get doctor/nurse advice tonight though. good luck. take it easy.
mother of 2 with one on the way.

when I was pregnant with my third child I think I was two months I had some spotting and it scared me but it went away and I didnt have any more problems the rest of the pregnancy and the baby was born healthy but you should still call a doctor or hospital and tell them so they can tell you what to do or if you should be seen right away.

I would call a hospital and speak with a nurse or someone in the medical field and explain your situation. Don't take this lightly you need to make sure your baby is ok and you are not having a miscarriage.

Spotting is nothing to go to ER for, only if you are bleeding heavily like a period. Most spotting during pregnancy is normal. Sometimes having intercourse would cause it as well.

Call your doctor. If you have to wait until tomorrow to reach him/her, then know that very light spotting can be normal in the first trimester of pregnancy per what my doctor told me. Just take it easy until you can talk with your doctor.

My daughterinlaw just went through the same thing. Went to emerg. Told her it's normal as long as it doesn't get heavy or worse than when it started.
It stoped for her with just rest and time. Not much just so you know just to get colour..pinky when she wiped.
