tomorrow and really need to dye my wig. Now its a light orange-ish color and I need it to be a more common, natural color, like dark brown or black.

i'm not sure, but mabye you could soak the wig in food coloring and water.

You can only color a wig with hair dye if the wig hair is real human hair. If it is fake hair, buy colored hair spray in the Halloween section. Try black. Don't use Koolaid, coffee, markers or fabric dye. Those won't work and will just make a big mess.

Go to any 5-10 store and they should sell hair color in a can. All you do is choose the color and spray it on! Good luck at the party.

I read You may ONLY dye human hair wigs - BUT I also read that you can you RIT (fabric) dye -- it will work. Try a sample piece at first... then do the rest if it turns out :)

try soaking it in strong black coffee. Also, a lot of common foods will dye many different things. Among them are (1) grape juice (2) beets (3)coffee (4)tea

Kool-Aide will dye things...try mixing Flavors till you get the color you need.

you could try to soak it in coffee or tea, but I'm not sure that it will work. i'm assuming that it is synthetic hair -- in that case, getting it wet might not be the best idea. try to reshape the wig once it is wet & be careful drying it, heat could melt it.good luck

i don't think you should, it would break your moms trust, and then the rules would get stricter. and well at least she said yes to dying your hair, you just can't die it a funky color, so just go with a funky natural shade of hair

purple grape juice not drink... If the hair is not real it may not work but it is worth a try... they used to use natural things to do make up and such..... good luck
