actually they don't look the same... some do, some don't. but there is a "type" for each, same as white/caucasian people..
it's very hard to tell who is scottish, english, french, etc... u know? the only distinctive ones are maybe italians w/ dark hair, etc.. other than that, u have Characteristics, but it's hard to always generalize that way.
i am korean, and many people think i look chinese because i have slightly larger eyes and darker skin. but there are many chinese w/ extremely pale skin... u see what i mean? so just pay attention more, and maybe learn more, and u can see slight differentiations between those who look extremely korean, or chinese, or japanese.. some u can totatlly tell right away, others u can't tell at all.

They don't look the same specifically. If you call someone Chinese and they're Korean, it's a big insult, so don't do that. First ask them and find out more about them, before you judge them. It's like saying Indians and Muslims look the same, although there are certain characteristics that they don't share.

Koreans are most distinct because their eyes are not wide or smaller. They are usually are confused for Filipinos. Chinese and Japanese look more like each other, so avoid the confusion and ask the person where they're originally from.
