Notice that the Mexican Americans answering this question are not ashamed. They are happy to see our flag disgraced.

that's an excellent question, particularly when other students waving the American Flag across the street are ones that get into trouble.

"Notice that the Mexican Americans answering this question are not ashamed. They are happy to see our flag disgraced."

notice that you are making generalizations about Mexican Americans, I'm one, and I think it is sad when people break down nationalism in our country, It's one of the few things we have.

And no, I do not need to feel "ashamed" but I am not happy. That is just like me saying "well shouldn't all white people be ashamed of the KKK?" No that's preposterous. If anything you should be more concerned about them they are flying the american flag right next to a burning cross and a confederate flag.

flag disgrace has been going on forever, not just by "these Mexican Americans"

This happened a few months ago along with the Maywood Ca incident.I'm at a lost to tell you.I didn't hear if any of the students were punished or not.I don't think anyone was arrested in the Maywood flag desecration either.
This type of blatant disrespect of this nation must stop. Its against every thing our military fought and died for and the flag is a symbol of this nation.Vote in November make Washington hear us loud and clear.Stop this seemingly endless flow of illegal aliens.Deportation not legalization
No amnesty
The Minute Men are very law abiding.Don't believe the crap you are being fed. They are men and women of all races that only want to help protect this nations borders. They aren't illegal the abide by all the laws of the USA.Don't say things that you really don't know. Here say is not a fact.

Then first I appear I am Rafael I am of American parents living in Mexico I am 16 years old I was born in 1990 and in 1993 my parents created a company in Mexico here and for reasons of my parents we had ourselves to change here at the moment I am in the city of Mexico and here in the city of Mexico I do not feel far from the E.U.U so that here also there are great American communities in Mexico I have Mexican friends and American and in Mexico never I have received discrimination on the part of the Mexicans here and I have asked to them that if it has to him a resentment to the E.U and says me that not so that as all we are equal in the world not we are so that to have resentment to him to a country (thus all the Mexicans think) and in the university that study 78% of the students we are American would be 782 Americans in my incredible university no? and here they let to us sing in American hymn and they raise the American flag but we are forced to also sing the Mexican hymn for that reason I believe that he is very true what you say we American them we also have right like migrantes as well as the Mexicans in E.U. and if they did it the Mexico-Americans are so that therefore we behaved all the Americans you do not create? the Americans taught it to the Mexico-Americans so that we are thus and they behaved of the same form

I don't see anything that says it was a school....did I miss that some where????
Second of all, we all value our freedom of speech, while it is not something I would do, people have the right to voice their unhappiness with our country, no matter what their race....hanging a flag upside down is a peaceful way to demonstrate and they are not hurting anyone.

Usaully are people born in America burning the flags we have? Should not burn any countries flag period? Mexico or American flag should be treated with respect? Personally Flag burning period should be a crime.

Strawman Argument 101

... It's called Democracy...

It's called their patriotic duty to dissent...

Sometimes shock value is the only way to not be silenced by ommision and censurship.

Many are first generation immigrants... relax... they are just kids (and future taxpaying voters),

They are not burning the flag... do you know what it means when it is placed upside down ???

Why do you blame the school system?

Why are you not more concerned about our constitution being turned into a running joke ?

You may email me your response...
