Yom Kippur is the most important Jewish [holy]day (holiday). It is celebrated by practically all Jews. They fast for 25 hours. The holiday is a day pf repentance and atonement. The cool thing about Yom Kippur is that it is a day of repentance and atonement privately. You don't have to repent to a rabbi (Jewsish priest). The repentance is based on yourself and to the people that you harmed. You could either repent spiritually or to the people that you harmed. After the services on Yom Kippur you break your fast, some people break their fast with another family in their community.

It is a day where you are supposed to reframe from food for 25 hours, and to be in meditation and in prayer for the entire time.
