Very good question - I am a receiver of what is offered and a giver of what is needed when I am in love

I receive what is offered. When offered a demonstration of love, or of affection it is a lovely gift that I did not have to demand. Love is not something that can be "taken" or "stolen". My boyfriend would probably say he takes what he wants but I give it to him of my own free will...I am the one with the power.
