Because, most college age people are smart enough to know if they go to Iraq, they might not get to come home to finsh college. Plus, they are smart enough to recognize and unjust war when they see one!

I just got back from Iraq and we have plenty of troops in Iraq. To answer your other question, you are living in America where our armed forces is a all volunteer service. So people can choose weather they want to serve with the armed forces or not.

I would like to know the true feelings of military experts on that. It seems to me that for political reasons the Neo-con civilians decided to fight Iraq on the cheap. Now that we are in the mess I question whether it can be resolved with the same strategy and lack of resources. But I am not a military expert. That is why it would be nice to get their real opinions. Not just the kind of stuff they have to say since Rumsfeld is sitting next to them.

i dont think that we need more troops but the government disagrees...

in my opinion, i believe that this generation that is starting & going through college now, 18-22 year olds, dont see the severity of things in the world right now...they are more concerned about making money and doing things for themselves...

my husband joined the military right out of high school and i joined when i was 20 years old...i felt as if it was my civic right to serve my country....i have never been to Iraq but have lots of friends who are there right now who really miss home and havent seen the states in 2 or more years...

it would be nice to bring them home but i dont think that its going to happen within the next few years

NO we don't need more people to DIE and KILL themselves in Iraq. We already have nothing to do with Iraq. It's only AMerica. So America can line up college students, and sent them to Iraq instead of us Aussies!!

No, we need them to come home, they should never have been there in the first place.

College people are smart enough to realise that war will not solve the problems of the world.

Just as many as needed to secure the entire Iraqi border.Ring them in and let them fight it out among themselves. Befriend the winner and dole out the cash for the reconstruction projects.

If that were necessary the generals in charge would have requested it... armchair generals are not equipped sufficiently, to make that judgement. They aren't there for other than a visit.
