So that you would buy 5 packs of hotdog buns, and 4 packs of hotdogs to have an equal amount of hotdogs and buns.

Hear! Hear! I know what you are saying, I have thought the same thing! I wish I could give you an intelligent answer. The fact is, that you have to buy 2 packages of buns, just to make 10 hot dogs. I guess we could freeze the extra buns until the next time we have hot dogs, then thaw out the extra two buns.

Here they put 12 hotdog ina pack and you get 6 buns it's good you know you just buy 2 buns or eat the half this week and the other half tommorow :)

To make you ask silly Questions. If you buy the Bun Length hot dogs....like Ball Park brand, there is only 8 in a pack!
