It can but you won't be absorbing much of the beneficial properties of green tea through your skin. You would be much better off drinking the tea, and using filtered water to wash your face with a gentle skin cleaning lotion.

Although green tea has some cleansing propensity, it does not cleanse completely. If you really like green tea in your cleanser, try Desert skincare sold at Whole Foods. They contain green tea.

Mhm. I've done it before. I didn't like it much. What I found REALLY worked, was Lemon. Cute a lemon up, and just rub it over your face, and wash. Do that every two days. It works like a charm!

OK, lots of answers for you. So how about cucumber? Great for the skin. Use a juicer and make juice - and works best if you drink it too.
