Double standard.

Rules are made by men. They want to see the boobs. I think men invented panty hose and stiletto heels too.

because that particular muslim woman was supposed to be teaching small children how to pronounce words properly. How can she demonstrate how to hold your mouth if she refuses to show her mouth? And she wasn't asked to not wear the veil anywhere but English language class. But like the typical muslim, she and you are blowing it all out of proportion! Get a life, and perhaps a brain cell that works! It has nothing at all to do with religion, it has to do with common sense and logic.

Simple.... In this country a person can not force another person to deal with their religion. A busines owner dose not have to accept a person religious practices. As far as bare chested goes. That is a civil issue, and political. And she is only breaking a law that discrimnates aginst women. to start with.

Unfortunately the comparison is not equal.

Usually businesses have a particular dress code. I bet the business in question does not allow bare chested employees either.

Honey, we live in a man's world.

Exploitation of women is acceptable. Porn is ok! Hugh Hefner is an icon! It's ridiculous.

When Islam encourages women to have self-respect by dressing modestly many people are against it. Not allowing women to wear something that makes them feel decent and pious.... isn't that the true meaning of oppression?

I came across this quote the other day... "The true meaning of freedom is not being able to do what you want to. The true meaning of freedom is being able to do what you ought to."

What country can a woman protest topless in? In the U.S. that's called "indecent exposure" and usually leads to an arrest.
