Wives like money. When you're not out stacking that loot, she gets ticked.

Tell her "I got you covered babycakes, i just need a break from my grind. You'll get yours"

She'll love that, and respect you for it.

Ask her to join you
or
Ask her one of the yahoo questions, without telling her that it's one of the questions you were answering. Then tell her thanks, she gave you a great perspective on that question you have.

And oh, by the way, that you provided her answer to one of the yahoo question's and she got you a BEST ANSWER pointage!

Or...maybe you can agree to a set time to do your answering. This way, if she wants attention from you or if you are spending too much "time", you can get more of her support. It's just a hobby. You're not one-on-one conversing with some female. You just are a people person and it pleases you to help others.

This is something that your child enjoys doing together. Is she jealous of your time with the child? Away from her? There seems to be some other issues at hand....

Just tell your wife that you are trying to be a Good Samaritian and helping people with their problems. The next time you go to Yahoo answers, you should ask your wife to look over your shoulder and try to answer the serious questions like relating to employment. She will be impressed by it that she will stop. Good Luck.

well- introduce her to it. When it told my BF of 4years about this place and how i feel like i really help people when i answer their questions he thinks it's relaly nice of me. Explain to her that this is not a chat room. You don't meet people here. If fact you can't even IM people here. Well- you can if you want to but the poin to this page is to answer people's questions and thats waht you're dojng. I find it fun, fascinating and helpful. It's crazy when people ask crazy family questions here because some of the things that people need help with here are things i can identify with for example inlaws not liking you-marriage gone wrong etc. etc. Get her into it. She'll like it. To me ( a woman) it's like gossip but in a way you'er liek giving a friend advice on stuff.

It's probably not the site itself but the fact that she might feel ignored. I absolutely HATE this one game my husband plays, more than any other games he plays, because he becomes lost in his own world and will stay up until 2 or 3am playing it, and barely say a word to me.

You should set a time limit for yourself. Let her know that it's something you enjoy, but you'll be off the site at say 10pm and then you can watch a show together...or do another recreational activity.

Cause you're not asking HER questions and answering HER questions....there is obviously something missing, maybe you aren't spending enough time talking to her and sharing ideas and thoughts. You know women like that kind of thing. Or the other thing is, she is entirely too over dramatic and jealous.

Depends if you are doing it and excluding/neglecting her needs.

Try and get her involved in answering some of the Q. Make sure she has all she need etc. and encourage her with an interest of her own then she probably won't mind you answering Q.

Don't however spend all your spare time online answering Q as then she will, rightfully, get the hump.

Maybe she feels that way because she thinks that you will get attached to someone. Ask her to join you in answering questions. I don't know what kind of relationship you have but maybe you should try to make her feel special and appreciated more often, so she won't feel that you are out looking for someone else.
