Whether you believe in Evolution, Creation or intelligent design, one thing is common to all three theories. They all pretty much say that we all came from one common single point of origin, which makes us all related. Why is this not enough for us to treat each other like brother and sister? I have a difference of opinions with my actual sister but it doesn’t make me love her any less. She likes putting jelly and oatmeal on her English muffins. I think that’s gross, she goes to church and I do not, I think church is stupid, but I would still risk my life for her if she needed me too.

The question here is "why is church stupid?" or "Were you hurt by someone in the church?" You are correct about your principles of selflessness and peaceful, family-like coexistence.

ok I see your point but evolution has YEARS of data behind it actually showing scientifically that is could be true or at least in right direction...the other 2 don't.

Using your sister metaphor..you don't mind that she puts jelly and oatmeal on her english muffin but what if she wanted it made LAW that you and your children were taught that is the only way to eat them? What if she wanted to make it a law that all schools had churches built into them and all children had to go pray for 2 hours a day? I suspect it would be a whole new ball of wax.

That is the main point on contention. The religious "right" are doing every sneaky, underhanded thing they can to FORCE people to live the way the religious "right" wants and they will lie, cheat, steal and kill to get their way

Actually I'm writting a book on the subject and would like to mention there is a lack of evidence to support the evolution theory, the creation theory nor the evolution theory can stand up on their own. It is actually a mixture of theories helped along by another higher species years ago. It explains the pyramids in egypt, south America and china as well as similarities in languages and many other things

You make a good claim, but I think arewethereyet hit the nail on the head. The problem isn't Evolutionists and Creationists disagreeing, it's that they try to shove their beliefs in one another's faces and down one another's throats. To be fair to Evolution Theory, few people honestly want to shove it down someone's throat. They've become defensive because many (not all) Creationists bash them all the time and demand that their unscientific theory be taught in public schools, which brings religion into government-run facilities-- a direct violation of the statements set in the Treaty of Tripoli.

But there's also one pretty big difference: Evolution has scientific evidence, and creationism has nothing except those ridiculous arguments like "Just look around you! Just look at the universe!" -- hell, creationism isn't even a science. It's unobservable, unfalsifiable, untestable, and more importantly, unprovable. Evolution and creationism definitely aren't on the same level, in that regard.

Oh sure, we all agree on that, but let me ask you .... how much would you fight with your sister if she tried to put jelly and oatmeal on YOUR English muffin? Hmmm?

lol that's what all this is anyway, just sibling bickering.

Excellent point! I believe that most definitely! But in order to treat each other equally, everyone has to believe it. A lot of folks would still rather hate!
