If your plans are very flexible and you are a patient person, it can work out very nicely. How it works: you give up your checked baggage allowance and bascially trade it to the service in exchange for your cheap fare. They give you a window of when they think they might need you to fly. It's usually a 24-hour window, report to your home airport and just kind of wait till you actually are assigned a flight to get on. You might not get your destination of choice--- for example, if you purchase a flight into London, you might fly into Heathrow, or Gatwick, or even Manchester. It all depends on where their cargo needs to go. Sometimes you're lucky and put on the first flight out, sometimes you sit around in the airport for a long, long time. It may be more than 24 hours till you're finally on a plane. They use your checked baggage allowance to ship things that need to be somewhere faster than FedEx can get it there. Sometimes you have to actually carry the items and check them in, sometimes you don't; you don't have to pick them up or deliver them though, just hand them off in the airport.

Personally for me, it's not worth it--- I really have no desire to sit in an airport literally all day just to save a couple hundred dollars and end up on the other side of the Atlantic, not sure when I will be coming home. But if you want to do some hardcore travel and don't mind the uncertainty (and can fit everything you need in a carry-on bag) it's a good way to visit a lot of places without going broke.

The company itself is pretty much on the level; I've never heard of any problems with them other than basically misunderstanding how the whole thing works. So if you do go for it, be absolutely certain you really understand all the ins and outs before spending any money!

I heard, I joined, I tried and I never benefited from them. Even called them and said, prove it---and they didn't. Told me they didn't work that way. I wasted my money.....don't suggest it as a good alternative. If it sounds to good to be true--it probably is.
