because i guess we hope and pray that we find the right one and just at the time of our depression someone comes along with the right things to say and it-it is just like a big burden being picked up from your shoulders and you believce withon a shadow of a doubt that this person was meant for you, and i guess that what places us in such bad relationships

because they confuse lust with love. They also think "love" means life will be hunky-dory. When the first sign of trouble appears, their answer is a divorce. They look for extra-marital affairs too....and then think that THIS is 'true love'. Only to start the cycle all over again. You have to choose your partner wisely and work...work goddamn hard to make a relationship last and keep blooming for love and with love. It's been working for me for 22 years. And if you think 22 years of marriage was always a fu*king picnic then buddy....whoooeee....have you got a surprise waiting.

So that's why. Oh..yeah..I was going to say 'maturity" also but judging some of the people here and what they say that theory is out the window.

Its simply a part of life. You see so many people here on this board like that because they are here seeking answers to thier problems. You dont necessarily have continuing posts about everyones great relationship because they have no questions.

because you've confused "nice" with weak or lazy or selfish or unwilling to change or lacking self-worth or unhealthy.
Healthy people don't stay in bad relationships. In fact, healthy people don't even start bad relationships, much less consider it real love.

Because nothing lasts forever. We're programed as a child to believe that this is the way it's suppose to be. So were set up to set our selves up from the begining.
