Courts do not look fondly on vehicular homicide. Probably minimum 15 years, more likely 30, depending on where you reside.

Depends on what they charge him with and what state you're in.
Involuntary Manslaughter is probably what he'll be charged with. The time depends on too many factors but here is the federal sentencing guideline.
(a) Base Offense Level:
(1) 10, if the conduct was criminally negligent; or
(2) 14, if the conduct was reckless.

He will be eligible for parole in 4-6 years but there are too many factors involve to give you a definitive answer.
Addendum: He probably won't be charged with murder unless the prosecuting attorney can prove intent, which I would think is hard to do in this case.

Depends a lot on the state, i my state they passed a few years ago an "aggressive driving" law. I think if you get convicted under that it's a minimum of 20 years.

He decerves death. He could possibly get life for it. He was driving at the other car.( i presume like the game chicken) That means he can probably be tried for premeditated murder with a deadly weapon. A car can be classified as a deadly weapon. Find a new boyfriend he is gone. I wish they had death penalty for idiots like him. Just think someone is dead because of his stupidity.
