Having already declared war on 2 Islamic Middle East countries, and losing in both, America has not the power to take on Madagascar, never mind Iran. Also, haven't you been keeping up with the news; your President is about to grovel to Iran & Syria, begging them to help with Iraq?

If the US did strike against Iran how long do you think it would
take before supporters of Iran, and other countries would strike
back.
Attacks from within the US ie. Car bombs,Biological attack, any
other terrorist attack you can think of. Can you spot the enemy
when you walk down the street.
PARANOIA AND FEAR, Better than any bomb, when the enemy
lives next door to you..
Think (The Enemy Of My Enemy Is My Friend)
N KOREA do you think they like the US more than Iran or less.

Iran can stand for a while using non-conventional weapons, but and I hate to say this...one or 2 nuclear bombs and they will be gathering berries and drawing on walls of caves.
It would not be fair, because Iran has more good people then radicals, who unfortunately are the people we have to deal with.

This is a stupid questions. Some people and countrys have principles while we have lost or own principles.
I beleive that we are in deep, deep trouble if we allow bush, cheney
rumsfeld, rice and gonzales running our country.
Do not under estimate your adversary. Instead of confronting these
people, talk to them and become there friends it would not be hard.
This country had asked to become friends of America, but our
military industrial complex must have war to keep the profits run.
Lets stop this bulloney Bush-Cheney neo-cons/nazi's

The US is Militarily capable of defeating anyone on earth. We have not shown the WILL to use that ability for quite a while. If our goal was to destroy the country, they would never know they had been hit. If we attempted to fight a 'compassionate war', they may very well stand against us.
PS compassionate war is the ultimate oxymoron.

China has a one million man army. They also have twice the number of our tanks. China could invade the USA with half that number. Iran has a whacko in power with Oil money, he can buy nukes anytime he wants them.

Quite possibly not.
But twist that question around:
Does the United States have the manpower and equipment to effectively fight in Iran?
My guess is a resounding NO.
We're stretched to the breaking point already (thanks to Mr. Bush).

Probably... but the fact is, they won't have to stand alone, if ever they get started. If the U.S. keeps on its present road of thinking it is so superior to all other nations.. insulting many.. they may be the ones standing alone.

No, not really. Iran does need the bomb though. You think if Iraq had thee weapons of mass destruction, USA would have attacked it.

Do you mean if the U.S. attacked them could they survive? Probably not, if we threw our whole weight at them. It would hurt us, though. Iran's ~80% bigger in population than Iraq.
