if you look on ebay, you can buy big bags of dead sea salt. it`s not too dear! i`ve tried every cream you can think of and have just started on tablets(neotigasion)only been on them for a week but can`t see a change so far, hopefully they will work though. ask your doctor to refer you to a dermotoligist. i had sun treatment about 5 times and it was great, really cleared it up but always came back!!!! good luck and i hope you find something that helps you,xx

I had a 13 year history of psoriasis, though I was in good health otherwise. But these severe large, thick and scaly excoriated plaques on my neck, ears, trunk and limbs ruined the way I was leading my life. I would be with red, inflamed itchy skin for most part of the year and these silvery scales would seem to be erupting without any reason. To make matters worse, blisters would appear over already red and itching skin. It was living hell.

I was treated with various options but nothing seemed to be working. Some of the treatments that I underwent in this depressing period of 13 years included tar preparation, tropical steroids and anthralin. I was also given light therapy many times but everything I tried would give me temporary relief.

And soon, after a few days I would be plagued with the situation again. In one of those moments when I was completely lost I stumbled upon this website just by chance. I read it and felt that as if someone had put the story my life on this web page. I was thoroughly convinced that if ANYONE can cure me of condition, it would be you.

And was I right, or what. I started recovering within 3 days of starting this treatment. Something that had become a painful part of me for 13 years was actually getting healed! My ears are healed and my neck is smooth again!. I am a month into the treatment and I have never felt better in my life!

Cure psoriasis starting today - even if your doctor or dermatologist says "it's impossible!"
I've just followed a guide called psoriasis free for life that completely cured me of this debilitating and embarrassing disease in less than a month!
Remember, this will not only treat the symptoms that you do see:
the red, inflamed itchy skin.
The silvery scales that seem to erupt for no reason.
The burning or bleeding that occurs around your joints.
The cracking, oozing and painful patches on your skin.
But it also treats the underlying cause of psoriasis - the part you don't see - the actual immune system deficiency that causes these itchy patches to appear and scale over.

You can definitely get back your life, your confidence and your self esteem!

Psoriasis is a disease that takes place when the body’s immune system mistakenly believes healthy skin cells to be enemy cells and starts to produce many more new cells to replace these cells. This is the reason why there is no cure for psoriasis and medications applied to treat psoriasis are only able to remove the symptoms temporarily. Don't go the "cream route", it's only just a waste of time and money. Been there Done that!

You need to read "Psoriasis Free For Life" by Katy Wilson if you want to cure your psoriasis for good. Available online also @ http://www.psoriasisforeverfree.com It's a book that shows you how to cure psoriasis naturally in a few days. I cured my psoriasis permanently in 6 days after reading this book. Good luck!

I was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 14 and now I am 36 years old. You can say that I have tried just about every medicine both approved by FDA and trial without much success. Examples include Enbrel, Humira, oral meds, creams, oils, salts, coal tar, etc and the list is much more extensive that I can't even remember all of the names. But recently after someone shared this video https://tr.im/PsoriasisTreatmentEah4 everything has changed. My psoriasis completely cleared by putting these changes in place. I only wish I'd taken photos of before and after because it truly has been miraculous. I am getting married in Oct, 2015 and I am wearing a strapless gown that also shows my back and I am confident (not like before) that my skin will be soft and pretty vs red and flakey.

Somebody asked this question the other day. Have a look through the resolved questions, it might give some different answers on there.

My advice is to have your GP refer you to a dermatologist. They have several ways of treating psoriasis, from baths to sun lamp treatment to creams.

I was given 3 different creams to rotate, as the skin "gets used" to one cream if used too often. Out of the 3, Dovabet is the best - the others just dry it out more.

The reason I still have psoriasis, is that basically, half the time I either forget or can't be arsed to put the cream on!

My psoriasis always goes away during the summer. I figure that the sun on my skin actually helps heal it. Most winters I get dry patches that look red and scaly and feel like alligator skin. Surprisingly enough, this past winter wasn't as bad as most. I haven't figured out why.

My doctor prescribed a cortisone cream. Which doesn't work worth a damn. In the years when the sores were really bad on my arms, I would cover them heavily in zinc ointment, then wrap them in gauze. This would have the effect of making that alligator layer slough off. A temporary fix only, as it would start redeveloping as soon as the new skin was exposed. But at least it wouldn't feel gross for those couple of weeks.

Let us know if you come across something that actually works, okay?!

My husband has had it for years. The only help we have had any success with is swimming in the salty sea and natural sun light. Vitamin D helps a little. It is caused by a glitch in the immune system and there is no cure yet. Whatever you try, don't give up if it doesn't work. just go on to another treatment. Good Luck and don't scratch.

I believe there are many types of treatment for it but not all suit all so I know of one friend who decided to stop using creams and she sat down and totally reasessed her entire lifestyle, it has a connection to stress and so she went the holistic route of changing to a seriously healthy diet and exercise ritual, she got a full body massage weekly also, this went on for her own set target of 3 months her skin cleared up! I understand sometimes you absolutely must use creams to relieve the burning itch and I remember her skin often bled but although she is not so strict as she once was her lifestyle change and eliminating stress as much as possible worked wonders. Hope this is of some help.

I read that putting a banana skin on for a while each day can help... not sure if its true... I may have imagined that...

But certainly medicinal herbalists might be able to help. Search on the net for your local one. My aunt is one and she's awesome!! Worth a try anyway!

Also, don't be in the sun too much or eat spicy foods, cause they can agrivate it. Also try eating vegetarian omega 3 supplements they can help. (not the fishy types!)
Good Luck

Prescribed medications did not work for me either. I cleared my scalp psoriasis with serenaskin remedies. I was using ointment and spray and took extract internally. Ointment is greasy but I felt a relief after first application, and in a couple of weeks of the treatment my scalp was cleared.
