When in love all logic and reasoning goes for a six, here are a few things you have to decide on:

1. Are u willing to change your religion, if he insists ?

2. Are you ready to accept the traditions of his family and religion after marriage and forgo your own religion ?

3. Will your parents/his parents agree on this or will it hurt them ?

4. Will his parents except you ?

5. Will this marriage effect the prospects of your brothers/sisters if any in future ?

These are some hard questions (there are many more) in Indian inter-caste marriage which have to be given a serious thought as these may create a lot of problems later and many an inter-caste marrige has fallen apart after the initial phase of loveie-dovie wears off.

So Please think and think hard and weigh all the Pros and Cons before you take the plunge>rr

Girl, obviously you are in love, and I dont blame you for that its human nature. According to my own research, there is NO great difference between the two faiths. Muslims believe in Jesus too, they believe in all the stories and events that took place in the bible. In other words Muslims are nothing but Updated christians with the addition of Prophet Muhammad...sounds interesting doesnt it? I was pretty amazed too when I realized this. Dont take my word for it, go to video.google.com and search for ZAKIR NAIK.

If you are Christian then you should know what God says about being unevenly yoked. God will not honor such a marriage. Caring alot about a person is not enough! God is the ultimate authority and if He says no, that would be good enough for me and should be for you to. This would be a perfect time to talk to him about Jesus and pray that God would use you to help him convert.

Why don't the both of you just become religiously neutral and stay away from both sides of the coin. There are plenty of other people out there to kill each other over religion because the power mad leaders want it to be so.

If you know that he cares alot about you then don't worry about it....in matters of the heart, factors like religion become irrelevant if you two are truly in love......don't worry about marriage and stuff like that, if its meant to be then it'll happen.....love looks beyond ethnicity and religious obligations.....good luck....
