if you had a teenage girl saying she wanted to be pregnant and doesn't care about what anyone says?

I heard this before and wanted to know what others thinks.

The answer i can give you is that i would be scared and wondered what caused her to be this crazy. I mean i suspect she thinks raising a baby is like buying a baby doll. and that you can just show off with it. it's a dangerous world and her thinking that and not caring what others thinks, i wouldn't know what to do.

I don't think she realizes the responsibilities one takes on when having a child. Your personal life stops and your world begins revolving around the baby.
I would tell her to think twice about it and tell her all the negative points to having a baby while you're still in your teens. You automatically have to grow up. Those who don't are horrible mothers and don't raise their children well.

I think you should buy her a doll, and "walk" her through a day with a baby. Make her "nurse" or feed it every 3 hours. Wake her up at night to do it. Borrow some baby equipment for her to lug around. Have her bath the baby.

All of this while playing a recording of a screaming baby in the background.

Or better yet, have her babysit for a day.

I have heard of a program which has dolls that actually cry, wet diapers, etc. Sorry I don't know the name.

If you could get your hands on those dolls that cry and require attention like real babies, that would be good. But if not She needs to talk to and visit with some teenagers that have a child and actually has to do it on there own. They should be able to give her a reality check real quick. If all else fails get her a tiny puppy that loves attention, that she would have to keep with her at all times or pay someone to babysit. That worked for my cousin, she realized she wasn't ready to be a mother when she had a puppy that she couldn't move without it following her and it whined all the time.

I think she is lacking self esteem/self-worth, common sense, an education, a job, and stability in her life.

She needs to grow up. It's one thing to have a baby as a teenager by mistake but to purposely want to have a baby that young when you can have so much fun instead... I don't know. Sounds like she's got some issues.

She's ignorant and doesnt have parents. Someone is'nt raising her right. She just needs a reality check and some guidence. Sad to know there are young girls out there like that.

the best thing to do is be friend with this person who seems lonely and insecure. maybe she feels having a baby will give her someone that loves her, talk to her, and maybe find something she likes to do and is good at at to build her confidence

give her the chance to be a "mock parent" and see what a pain in the *** it is to actually be a mother 24/7.

I would think that she is way to insecure and immature to even think about that.
