he is a little over wieght not bad looking but he has never had a girlfiend could he be gay? he is 21yrs old he had one girlfriend when he was 13 but it didnt last very long
he wont go out
he wont go on line and meet someone
i have asked him if hes gay but he says hes not how can i help him?
or should i just leave him to it?

hey ive allways looked after my brother our mum died when we were young we are very close and i dont like to see him lonely
iam married with two kids and he is a great guy and he also doesnt have any mates iam just worried about him and yes it is my place as iam all hes got

i dont have a problem if hes gay my husbands uncle who iam close to is gay so no it isnt a big deal

I think he's probably just either really shy or into himself right now. Not having a girlfriend doesn't make him gay- if he was, he'd be going out with guys, he wouldn't be sitting around at home. Some people just have their own timetables of wanting relationships. I think he needs to sort of come into his own timetable himself. If he never does, then he will still be your brother, your kids' uncle, and a really important part of your life. It's nice that you care.

maybe he is just not ready to date i mean some men are more into school ot whatever it is that he is into and maybe he just dont have time for one cause he has things that he wants to accomplish i mean i think that you would know if he was gay by now cause he would be around men all the time and you can see the signs of a gay man in a heartbeat so let him do it on his own time and see what happens try introducing him to some women his own age and see where it goes from there maybe he is waiting for someone to come along that he might actually be interested in or otherwise he could be dating and just aint telling anyone

With all the prodding and pushing and accusing your brother as being gay. it is no wonder why he does not want to get a girlfriend. He may not have met the right one yet however he is only 21 years old and has a lot more time to meet women. Let him be and one day he will come across the woman of his dreams

he's probably really self concious about his weight and won't ask a girl out. Suggest to go the mall with him help him on his weight thing and even there he can even meet a girl. HE's not gay he jsut sounds shy

maybe he is shy. maybe he don't like you knowing his business. if he is gay maybe he is scared to tell the family b/c he does not want to be judged. it sounds like he needs confidence, reassure him you will love him no matter what and tell him that there is someone for him out there. it is not a good feeling to be rushed into something that you are not ready for, just let him go at his own pace he will get there

My fiance never had one until me and we met when he was 25. We have been together for 4 years and there is absolutely nothing wrong with him. He was kind of shy and he says that his standards were higher than the girls who wanted to be with him. He's the best thing that ever happened to me. He's loving, faithful, playful, honest, normal and most of all...STRAIGHT!
Someone really messed up letting him slip by!

My son is 21 and he just now started dating. I have 2 other sons as well and I can tell you that boys do things in their own time. Don't pressure him. However, if you go to a party (or whatever), it wouldn't hurt you to ask him along (if you're close in age). Otherwise, just encourage him by telling him he's great...

Im sure hes not gay. Its just that some guys find it hard getting a gf or just dont feel like it. That happens to me sometimes aswell... just dont feel like haveing a girl around. He will do fine :)

he's prob really conscious about his weight. It's 9 weeks to xmas. So i suggest getting him to the gym 3 times a week till then and his self confidence will increase 10 times what it is now. if he is gay, so what, he'd feel more confident talking to you either way if he's less worried about his weight.

I'm 19 and my last real relationship was when i was 14,(I'm defiantly not gay or do i suffer from disfigurement or attitude disorders) If he's like me that last serious relationship hurt like hell and that can make you wary. Every body's Friend but no body's boy Friend.
