I dunno...I believe that some people meet those they feel a very deep connection with...and those people can be same or opposite sex...romantic interest or not...

Do I think there is just one "perfect" romantic soulmate partner out there for us? No way...the chances of ever meeting such a person are less than getting hit by lightening and winning the lottery in the same day...

There are MANY potentially wonderful partners for every person who desires one...soulmate or not...besides, that term has become as overused and abused as the word "love"...

No I believe that you fall for someone only after being with them and enjoying common intrests.. If there were one soul mate we wouldent have had so many relationships.. How many married people were totaly in love with someone else in the years prior to getting married to the one they are with?? The fact is,is that humans are very shallow.

Ugly people are not considered soulmates very often hugly fat people are not either.. But the cut, rippled abed thin rich guy is the soul mate of many women..So can ya really have more then one soulmate??

I do believe everyone has a soulmate however I don't believe that it always has to be in a romantic context. I truly believe my soul mate is my best friend. I think it varies between people but I don't think it's only limited to those who are in love.

yes
yes
i do
some know where they are
some don't look hard enough
some don't care they are too self involved
some are too selfish
some are too self giving to everyone
some carry the feeling they are close to theirs because their hearts ache for them but they just think it is something other than a companion but a material thing that was crying out for them
some don't trust themselves to give into their mates call of love
some have been hurt too much to be open to it when they find it
some just have too much hate from something ugly in their lives to want something beautiful
some want it so much they will find it in anyone that gives them a chance but never on the one they were meant for
some look for it but are too particular and don't realize they overlooked it because it didn't measure up to the high expectations they created when it is real simple
and some like me know when they really need you to come find them before they give up looking and you make it and have the rest of eternity to see what comes your way during your life together
and can wait for life to end becuase you are happy in every state of life you have with you soulmate you found your person to be at your side through it all

no. how depressing is that? what if my soulmate was born in China and I never went there to meet him? I believe there are a handful of people that you can be compatible enough and in love enough to make a lasting relationship, which is why most fail, but there is defintely more than ONE person you can do that with.

No such thing. It's all about how well you know yourself. The more you that you know about yourself will allow you make a better choice about a partner. Compatability is key, but most importantly you have to know yourself first and what you need and want from someone. There are so many choices in partners that you just need to figure out which is the best and stay with him/her. Date alot and meet lots of people. You will learn alot about yourself and what works and doesn't work for you.
