Good for you!
I can tell you that you will see results, but not necessarily on the scale. I did almost exactly what you are doing except four days, sometimes three, for thirty minutes a day. I did the Denise Austin workouts on TV or on DVD. Sometimes I would ride the stationery bike for 20 minutes after that.
What I saw first was not weight loss but toning and inch loss (remember muscle weighs more than fat). Eventually, I lost fifteen pounds (about six months maybe seven). That was five years ago and I haven't put any back on.
If you give up one bad habit, you'll lose weight faster (I give up candy; it's my weakness), but I really didn't change my diet when I lost the fifteen pounds.
Good luck to you!

Did the gym measure you when you first started? You should be seeing results in about 1 month time. Eating the right foods helps, too. Next time you go, ask to get measured. You could be losing inches and not much weight.

You'll feel results before you see them. After a week, you should already start feeling stronger and better and more confident. After two to three weeks, you'll see some small differences in your body, but other people will see them sooner since they don't see you as often. Just keep working hard, it'll come.

depends on the results you want. Losing weight or toning up? It took me honestly 4 months of pure lower body workout to get rid of the cellulite on my legs. I'm so pleased now and it was worth the fight! I worked out like 4 to 5 times a week. With your schedule you might have to be more patient to see results. Don't worry though, like I said its worth it in the long run!

Hi Jessica!
It is highly probable that you will see results if you keep your calorie intake to 1500 calories per day and keep active like you have been. If you adhere to this, you should see results within the week. E.g. your clothes should feel looser, etc.
While I have other ideas to help you, this should get you started.
I believe this answers your question, but if not, you may email me.
Good luck on your diet and fitness goals!

It can take up to six weeks to start seeing results. Measuring your body is so much better than stepping on a scale. Just remember to drink LOTS of water!

I would say prob. about a month. My suggestion would be to trade in one of your cardios thta you are doing for the elliptical. It really works alot of the areas. I use one about 4-5 times a week and I had a huge butt and its little now and firm plus my legs really trimmed down.
