Women...If you were in a religion(say Mormonism) where you were treated as slaves and you couldn't go to heaven because you're a woman or something stupid, men brainwashed you about rediculous things that God hated you ect......you hate me

Or you've been abused so many times by men and you hate men

or you just hate men no matter what........

Would you still accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior or would you not because he's a guy?

Just curious. I mean if I was one of those women I'd still worship him.

Dude, I am mormon and I AM NOT TREATED LIKE A SLAVE. Women are respected, honored, and revered in my religion.

Okay, that being said, If I was in some religion that treated women poorly, or was raised with abusive men, I'd like to think I could still separate the jerks from the good ones and figure out that Jesus was a good one. But I wouldn't know, the men in my life have been so loving and wonderful, I can't really imagine what that would be like.

Thanks

Yes, I would still accept Jesus as my personal Savior. Even though Jesus is male, He is a perfect male. In fact, Jesus is the only perfect male that ever did or will live. Men today, good or bad, are not perfect and, therefore, we can't judge Jesus by them. I can only judge Jesus by being perfect and loving everyone-and Jesus treated women really well!

First off, I am a Mormon. I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am not, nor have I or any one else I know of been treated as a slave - EVER. And while we are on it - Where do you get the idea that I could never go to heaven????? Before you start asking stupid questions about things you know nothing about I suggest you do some background searching from people who are members of the religions that you obviously know nothing about and not listen to people who are not members and only "think" they know.

And yes, we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior!

Remember . . . it is better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you are stupid than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. Sorry, but this ticked me off.

Technically, God is not either one. He is the supreme being who created all things. When he made spirit creatures they are called sons of God. But they do not have a flesh and blood body.
The bible says that flesh and blood cannot inherit the heavens.
that is where they all live. then he made persons to live on the earth unlike spirit persons they do have flesh and blood bodys
they eat and drink and get married and are really equal in God's eyes. It is only men who feel superior. So God is the life giver to all forms of life that maybe out there in the Universe.
Eventually, we stand before God as a person. Not as a women.
He is a person not either sex.

For one thing...if I was ever in a religion that treated me less then equal as a man I would leave that religion. If Christianities ideals appealed to me I would worship Jesus despite his being a man.

Men. They are what they are.

Jesus was different from all other men.

I would love Jesus no matter what.

**Mormons are taught that good Mormon males will grow up to be gods of their own planet.

...and women are oppressed in the Mormon religion.

Eph. 5:21

Spirit-Guided Relationships: Wives and Husbands

21 And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

(Did you catch that, submit to one another...not just the woman to the man))

1 Peter 3:7
Husbands

7 In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.

mormons do believe that...they arent slaves but that's why they have to wait to be called up by their husbands by their secret temple name right?oh and what about their planet...or wait they get to have spirit babies...fun fun...anyway

Acyually at alot of abuse shelters they teach God as more of a motherly type...and Jesus as is..

If you were in a plane, and the plane was going down- and you knew you were falling to your death- but someone offered you a parachute- would you take it?

( and I am being serious, unlike most people who come in here to answer questions)

Mormonism is a cult by the way, I hope you did leave it!

And Lisa- Do you agree what God says in the bible about Women are to submit to their husbands?

It is not Jesus who makes a distinction, it is others. The bible says there is no difference in slave and free, man and woman, rich or poor. We are all His creation and all are loved.
