1.)
1/2 cup ketchup
4 teaspoons brown sugar
2 teaspoon dry mustard or prepared mustard

Mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.
Spread over meat.
Return to oven for 10 minutes. (This is the last 10 minutes of cooking time)

2.)
1 1/2 cups pasta sauce (such as Classico Fire-Roasted tomato and Garlic Sauce), heated with 6 Basil leaves --- add to individual pieces of meatloaf while serving.

3.)
1/4 cup low sodium ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

This one is also added to the meatloaf and returned to the oven for the last 10 minutes.....

Meatloaf Recipe
Here's a delicious basic mealoaf with bread crumbs, lean ground beef, and other seasonings. Top this meatloaf with cheese and tomato slices just before it's done.
2 pounds ground beef, ground round
1 cup fresh soft bread crumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup ketchup
2 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
1 medium tomato, sliced
4 to 6 slices American cheese
Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, ketchup, eggs, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix gently until well blended. Shape into a loaf (about 8x5 inches) on a 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Arrange tomato slices on top of the loaf. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°. Place cheese slices, overlapping, over the tomatoes the last 5 to 10 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.

Canned soup has been used in meat loaves since the early 1950s. Because the seasonings are in the soup, this recipe requires few ingredients and makes a delicious meat loaf with flavorful gravy. Try it with each of the soups for a different flavor each time.

"Best-Ever Meat Loaf" - 8 servings

1 (10 13/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom, golden mushroom or tomato soup
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 cup dried bread crumbs
1 small onion; finely chopped
1 egg; slightly beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup water

1) In large bowl, thoroughly mix 1/2 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg and salt. In 12x8" baking pan, firmly shape meat into 8x4" loaf.
2) Bake at 350* - 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours until done. Spoon off fat, reserving 2-3 tablespoons drippings.
3)In 1-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, heat remaining soup, water and reserved drippings to boiling, stirring occasionally. Spoon over meat loaf.

I just use ketchup (heinz) and brown sugar
Put enough ketchup in a bowl that would generously cover the size meatloaf you are making, then add brown sugar to get more of a sweet sweet taste. You will need to taste/test yourself.
Spread this mixture on the meatloaf on the last 20 minutes of baking uncovered.

Meat Loaf Day...ew, I think I'll stay in bed. I'd rather have a Meat Loaf Day for the singer, and I probably wouldn't get out of bed for that either...but more of a chance.

OR
Heat up a packet of brown or mushroom gravy, as per instructions on the packet, or use gravy from a can.
