It would say whatever God wanted to it say. The different gospels were written by different people, and each one told things differently. The same would happen if a woman had written one of them or if a woman wrote any other parts of the Bible. Personally, I'm not certain that none of it was written by women. Some parts were written after the death of those who were involved in the stories, I believe, and no one knows who wrote many parts of it, though I'm no Bible scholar. I know that as it is, there were a fair number of woman who were mentioned very favourably.

There'd be a lot more guidelines for the care and raising of children, tending to the sick, more stories and allegories referring to the weaving of cloth, how to trick a sheep into adopting a lamb that is not its own, rats in the grain, and drawing water from a well.
You might want to take a look at an odd book titled The Singer Trilogy: The mythic retelling of the story of the New Testament by Calvin Miller

The bible was written by men but inspired by God (the Holy Spirit) so it was done just as the He wanted it. If you read the book of Luke it has many, many ref. to women which is awesome. As for the romance factor there is alot of that as well in Songs of Solomon.

The Bible was written by God through the Holy Spirit, so it would not matter what human being wrote it, and if you read it more closely, it does contain alot of romance, look at Basheba and David and the twisted triangle that created sin and conflict, and Jacob, Leah, and Rachael, how Jacob was promised Rachael for labor and was given Leah, and had to work more years to earn Rachael, whom he always loved, read it, it has Romance.
More important it tells us what happened when sins were committed so that we have a guide of how to live.

doubt t. the writers were generally unimportant, for they were inspired by god as to what to right and what not to. that's why many people of all backgrounds, times, and ideas generally flowed perfectly throughout the bible. it wouldn't matter if more women wrote it than men, or the other way around, or anything.

It's probably be more interesting, that's for sure :)
And instead of Abraham knocking up his wife's handmaiden, we'd have Esther choosing which pretty slave boy to do the deed with. Cool! ;-)
