It depends on how she feels about you. If she's not interested she might get a bit annoyed but generally girls are flattered by a bit of attention. If she's always up for a chat that doesn't seem likely. Knowing what hotbeds of gossip worplaces can be I am pretty sure that the whole office knows that you fancy her - but sods law being what it is she probably hasn't realised!!! You'e going to have to confide in someone and get them to find out for you unless you want to go for the more obvious 'so what are you doing this weekend, something with your fella' route. At least you'll find out then. You could try just asking her out - at least you would know if she was single and interested at once. I think you should make a move or the girl might find someone else meantime - that just happened to me with a bloke I liked. Just when the situation seemed perfect to suggest getting together he'd found someone else - so don't wait too long!

Try not to be too obvious about it, especially when there are other people around. She may find it flattering, but it's possible that even if she likes you she could find it rather embarassing. It's probably best to talk to her when she's not surrounded by people. Also, don't go asking around about the single thing. It's kind of prying. Most people after a while you can figure out if they are single (Maybe a guy picks her up after work or she tends to drop the name Greg a lot) If someone else talks about it, then it should be okay. If there's a staff party that is often a good indicator if she brings anyone and for how she acts in social situations.
On a side note, dating someone at work can be rough. You spend time with them on the side and then have to see them all day at work as well. And that's not to mention if breakups happen....

If it was me i would be flattered, and to be honest i would ask her yourself as if you get someone else to find the information out for you she may take it that you are playing a game with your friends
I think that she would admire you a lot more if you approached the subject yourself,
If she is with someone than at least you know that you have tried and maybe you can be friends.
But if she is single than you are on a good way of asking her out and possibly having a good rel and a good time together
be yourself and ask her

hey yo...to be honest, i dont think u should mess around with a girl at work anyway...thats weird in itself. and u know why. even if ur interested, get another job first and then try to get at her, cuz even if u 2 keep it drama free im sure the coworkers will do their best to stir up trouble because office romances are almost too hard to contain

Just ask if she wants to get coffee or a drink, and see what happens. If you keep going to her desk, but don't make a move, she may be creeped out.

have someone else find out if she's single...but no she shouldn't think you're weird...most girls are flattered by attention...if she's talking to you and not ignoring you then i'm sure she doesn't mind too much

Not a clue, mate. I never was much good at it. Met my girl online and now we live together, so what worked for me won't work for you now -- unless you can somehow find a way to get chatting with her online...

If you are too shy to ask her, ask one of the people who's cube she shares if she is married. Then you will need to go from there...
