The same way that telling people that a rock protects them from cougars.Give them the rock and tell them that it will protect them. When they ask for proof just say, "do you see any cougars?" and presto, they will be convinced.Same way they are convinced about a bunch of stories.

Don't beleive anything you hear and only half of what you see. So if you witnessed it, it probably did not happen. If you heard about it it did not happen. If you did not witness it or hear about it, it did not happen. Now if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, did it make a sound?

You don't. Is it reasonable to take the word of ancient people of unknown repute at face value regarding things that sound amazing?

Unless the prophecy is unambiguous, and it is strongly documented to have been made before the events in question, and the events in question are equally strongly confirmable, and the events played out exactly as prophesied (not just kinda sorta), then it isn't reasonable to give it any serious consideration.

Perhaps if you read Revelations and connect it to what is taking place at this very time, you wouldn't have to ask such a question.
