It is best to shampoo your hair with warm water. Warm water opens the cuticle and you get a deep clean. Then apply your conditioner while the cuticle is still open. The best conditioners are either protein based or acidifying, depending on what your hair needs. Then rinse the conditioner out with cold water to close the cuticle and seal in the conditioner. Also, when the cuticle is closed, you have shinier, sleeker hair!

YES,...cold water is cleaner. It is not a tail..it is FACT.Warm water sometime contain certain chemical,..that will cause your hair to fall.
You will not see the effect in 1 or 2 days,..but after u used it for years.
In winter,..u can use mild warm water,...to rinse ur hair,...dont ever use hot water.
Every hair salon in the world knows this.

Cold water *can* be healthier for your hair, especially if your hair is color-treated or chemically processed. Heat is damaging to the hair in any form. What's more, rinsing your hair in cold water makes it shinier (because it seals the hair shaft), more volumious (because it seals the cuticle of the hair -- similar to the cold shot button on a hair dryer), and helps it to be less oily (heat aids in the production of hair's natural oils).

Overall, giving yourself a cold rinse before you're ready to head out of the shower, IS good for your health. You will get better blood flow, along with the perks of shiny hair.

YESSSSS!!!!! â¥
scientifically, cold water forces the cuticle of your hair (the roughness on the surface you would see if you look at a strand of hair under a microscope) to lie flat, causing the actual hair to be shinier, stronger, and altogether healthierâ¥

It is not that warm water is healthier for hair, it is that cool water helps to close the cuticle (outter part of the hair) and keep hair from getting frizzy. Think of the hair as pores in your skin ... when you press a warm washcloth to your skin, your pores enlarge, and when you press a cool one to your skin, they shrink. Same thing with hair. Cool water will help minimize the appearance of split ends.

Well washing your hair with cold hair will make it shinier, because it will seal the cuticle...But I don't know if it makes it healthy or not.
