First, I would sit down with both of them and explain this is who you are. You are not trying to avoid them you are just changing as life goes on. They changed throughout their life too and they may even suprise you about excepting it if you just give them a half hour at most to let them know that you are growing up and doing the best you can. You seem mature enough to handle this. Pray ask GOD to help you out and continue to be patient and he will guide you. It doesn't matter how old we get we have to remember that we will always be their baby. It is parental instinct. You need to be completely honest with them about everything though. That way they will realize what you are saying is true.
good luck and GOD bless.

Well that kind of depends on what kind of trouble it is, and also what kind of parents you have, but for me if i want to get out of trouble I just kind of show them that i don't deserve to be punished *and you have to do this in a good way or else ur in deeper trouble lol trust me i have good experince with that* so just talk to them in a good loving way & try to communicate.

Try talking with your parents and coming to agreements ahead of time. That way if you want to do something different from what you agreed to, you can talk with them about it. It's never fun to get into trouble.

If you are still accountable to your parents, you must be "da boy" instead of "da man". If you live with your parents, eat their food, stay warm by their heat and cool by their air conditioner, let them pay the bills, and make the rules, your job is to follow those rules and be grateful you have parents and a home. Apparently something went wrong and you messed up. Once you're in trouble, it's up to them how you can get out of it. And once you do, don't keep messing up. When you pay your own way in your own home you can make the rules.

Take what they are saying to you seriously. Listen and think about what and why they are telling you the things you don't want to hear.
Apologize when you make a mistake, let them know you love them, and let them know that you appreciate that they are thinking about your best interest. WORKS well.

DON'T WORRY. GETTING INTO TROUBLE IS A PART OF LIFE. TIME WILL PASS AND EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT. HOWEVER, HOW LONG IT TAKES DEPENDS ON HOW BAD THE SITUATION IS. GOOD LUCK!
