the rosary is supposed to be something sacred. As a catholic, we are taught at a very young age not to flaunt our religion so to say. That is why in comparison to lets say christians... our mass is even different. we dont believe in singing our "feeling the holy spirits prescences" anything in the catholic religion is to do all things in the personal part of your life. pray alone, do good deads alone, dont flaunt "memorabilia" infront of people. it isnt bad or sac-religious par say but it isnt recommended... i've only seen nuns and priests do that.

No not really, it just kind of gives the idea that it's jewelry when it is not. People would be better off not wearing it and praying it instead. I don't know if Bono prays his or not but, I know he is pretty liberal so I dont think he does.
