i know i know highschool drama...just bare with me
i went out with my ex (first love) a year and a half (too long-too young) well he played a lot of games and really messed me up emotionally. i went through alot of depression but im out of it and doing so much better now.
lately hes been calling and texting me I miss him, but i would never get back with him. I do care about how he feels and i miss having him as a friend..but he wants another chance.
should i talk to him- and make sure he knows im ONLY in it for a friendship?
or should I be cold and tell him i dont want to talk anymore at all?

How quickly you've forgotten how horrible he made you feel. Have you forogtten how much those games hurt? Don't you remember crying and puking your emotional guts up? Don't you remember not being able to get out of bed? Did you forget how you'd shake and feel the earth swallowing you up and the terror in your heart? Don't you remember how insane he made you act? And for some reason, you "miss" him?
So now you've recovered and he wants another chance and you're lying to yourself by calling it a "friendship."
Do your friends kill you like he once did? No. It's not about being cold, it's about survival. He nearly killed you- don't go there.

If your ex hurt you so much, why would you want to be friends with him? What could there possibly be to talk about? You are in a relationship with another guy so telling your ex the truth isn't considered "cold"....that would be considered being honest. Unless you still have feelings for your ex. Maybe you need to be honest with your current b/f; he deserves the truth for sure. But honey, if your ex hurt you before, there's a good chance he'll do it again. People break up for reasons. If you are happy with the guy your with now, no need to let that go on a chance of getting hurt by your ex (again).

Seeking revenge and treating him just like the way he treated you and then dropping him like he did to you sounds sweet, but is it really you to do this though?

I would say no and move on. He has hurt you enough. Many guys out there would NEVER do that to you. You have to believe and have faith in good people. They are not always there in front of you but they do exist and are never noticed much. Give them a chance and you will be surprised at just how many are good inside.

Continue on with your current boyfriend . Don't carry old stuff into the new. When you have someone else the ex's always want to come back. Its nice to be nice, but don't give in. Your health is more important than that jerk.

well the mature thing would be to continue talking to him and telling him that you only want to be friend. and you are assuming that he wants more than a friendship with you, and the fact is that might be all he wants. now be a grown girl and talk to him, if it goes further than a friendship it is because you allowed it.

Like Gina, i'm Filipino and that i possibly have Spanish blood in me and that i'm a million/8 chinese language, yet i in my view evaluate myself all Filipino via fact i do no longer know any chinese language kin (my great-grandpa is finished chinese language and he went to the Philippines and married my great-grandma, hence my grandpa is 0.5 chinese language, yet he grew to become into no longer uncovered to chinese language custom). i'm basically extremely linked to Filipino custom.
