How to Straighten Hair

People have different types of hair. Some have curly hair, wavy hair or totally straight hair. People with straight hair can use curlers and get curly hair if they want. However, people with wavy hair find it difficult to straighten their hair. If you have wavy hair then you need not worry, there is a way to make your hair straight.

All you need is a round brush, a hair dryer and hair straightening gel. Apply the hair straightening gel on your hair and comb your hair. Take the round brush and pull the hair straight down from the root and at the same time blow the hair. This will ensure hair straightening. Within 10 to 15 minutes you will have straight hair.

Another option is flat iron hair straightening. Though many people use this, it is not advised as the heat of the flat iron could burn your hair. Long-term use of flat irons could spoil the hair completely.

Taking care of wavy hair is difficult if you have short hair. If you have long hair, wavy hair can be managed with ease. Wavy hair in itself looks beautiful, but if you want straight hair, you can try the above-mentioned procedure. However, long-term use of this procedure is not advised.

Without chemicals, the effects would only last until your hair got wet. You can use a flat iron. I recommend a ceramic type since it does a good job and does not damage your hair as much as other metals. Make sure though that you're deep conditioning once a week if you're straightening everyday:-)

Hey there. I had this question in my mind too. N now as it has worked, i want to share it with u. It can b bit tough but trust me...It works. If u hav long, un-cut hair...Then get a hair cut n tell ur beautician to tel u the proper way of straight blow-dry. When u take a shower...Hold ur hair tight in ur comb n then pull them straight while blow-drying. If ur going to a party or some where else....U must use a little amount of Hair Spray n then c the difference...!!

If this doesn't work then I wont recommend to get ur hair re-bonded but u might buy an Straightening Iron n consult ur good beautician.

Till then. Take care. Tata

My hair is naturally curly, so I use Pantene straighting balm and brush out my curls. Then, I use a flat iron with small sections of hair. If I have flyaways, I put Sunsilk in the pink bottle and run the flat iron through it again. It really makes my curly, thick hair flat as a pancake!

uhhh...I use Remington Wet to Style and I used to have to put all kinds of chemicals in my hair, but now I don't anymore. The cool thing is that after you get out of the shower, you can straighten your hair without having to blow dry it. It's best to use It at night cause ut stays in place while you sleep.

An all ceramic straightening iron. They work much better than metal ones and they don't damage your hair like metal ones.

I like to use the "Tres Emme Heat Tamer", followed by blow drying with a REVO or round brush. Any way you see it, if you decide on going with a flat iron whether or not it's ceramic, it will distress the hell out of your hair. So opt semi-safe and blow dry.

A straightening iron. Be sure to get one that is ceramic coated so that it won't fry your hair or pull it out.
