Calm...
Generally between 12 and 15 seems be the most common age for it. My mom got it at 13, my younger sister at 14, and me the thin one (since mom and sister her heavier) got it like a week or two after I had just turned 15. It will happen. I remember waiting and wanting it to...though now after 12 and a half years of it...it can go away now until I need it. hehe
Yeah it may be uncomfortable. You may get cramps and achy pain in your lower abdomen along with other symptoms. But pain relievers can take care of that. My mom never had too bad of a problem with cramps and neither do I, more like just some ache, so however your mom has had it, you may likely have it similar. And your boobs may feel pretty sore (to the point where running down steps may hurt if you don't hold yourself lol) the week before (after you are developed totally and that kind of soreness is gone) that is how I normally know I can expect it soon.

Don't worry it will come...and don't rush it...when it comes you will be excited but after awhile it will suck...
the signs of getting a period for young girls are that your breasts are fully budded, and you will probably get some achene...some bloating and some mood swings, happy one minute and sad the next,...crying for no reason...your weight will probably be around 100lbs or so...but if your very active this could also delay your period...
if it doesn't start by 15 then have your mom take you to a OB Dr.
enjoy being young...don't be in such a rush to grow up...you will be soon enough...
:)smiles to you:)

Everyone is different and you won't know when it will come. Generally if you hit 17-18 and it hasn't come, you should ask a doctor. I didn't get mine until I was 17 and I had no warning of it at all.
Some girls say they feel sick or cramping or pain in that area, but just as many females have no warning. My advice is carry a pad or tampon with you just in case it starts in a bad place or while you are out of the house.

its okay if yout 13 and still havent gotten to it. trust me its nothing to look forward to! lol. it doesnt hurt. you may get cramps after a few cycles which hurt but that can be alieved with an electrich heating pad. and some advil or tylenol, ect. every woman is difffernt. I got mine when i was 14. and my mom didnt get hers till she was 20! she had to get on birth contorl pills to get hers "medically assisted" so you are fine. just be patient and carry around a pad with you at school just incase it happens there. dont gorw up to fast you are still young! =)
so everyone is differnt you could start it in an hour. you could start it in 3 years. everyone is different. =)
good luck

no way to tell for sure when it will come. everyone is different and it comes at different times for everyone; no set age.
Believe me, it's a blessing not to have your period so enjoy being period-free while it lasts.
Clues could be different also depending on the person because every one experiences different side effects during their period and some people have no side effects. Possible clues could be unusual discharge, headaches, bloating, fatigue, irritability.

Be glad you don't have it yet. Once you get it your stuck with it for years and you will get alot of cramps right before it comes. I got mine on Friday the 13th when I was 13. Talk about bad luck.

I didn't til I was 16. This is normal. Signs will be cramping in your lower abdomen with puffiness. After you get it you will wish you never did! lol

Every girl gets it at different times... Sometimes you feel cramping, sometimes you won't It depends on your body. I got it at 12 yrs old, my cousin got it at 16, so it varies...
