You shouldn't feel guilty. But let him know you feel uncomfortable and prefer to pay with your own money.

I have a boyfriend like that. I'm like that with him too. Now we don't have much money to do the things and buy the things we did before. But we still love each other. I think you should enjoy the attention that he gives you now. Don't feel guilty, feel special. I hope things can always be that way for you two. But if there comes a time when he can't be able to buy you things, I hope the love between the two of you is stronger than that. Don't think that he is buying your love, think that tha'ts a way for him to show you that he cares for you.

It is so great that you are a strong independant woman. Trulely awesome. Material objects are only that and he might just be trying to give you a token to represent how awesome he thinks you are. And that is so cool. imagine if you had a guy that only wanted to rip you off???

Just as long as your guilt is not then turned into a vunerability where you will allow somebody to control you then i see no problem.

Maybe you should do some soul searching and ask yourself what your scared of? Where does this come from, why do i feel this way? What has happened in my life that shaped this independant quality into who i am today?

Life is about learning. Good luck.

there is nothing wrong with you feeling the way you do, and there is nothing wrong with him buying you things. this sometimes makes a man feel good, and as long as you appreciate what he does for you and not expect it, then allow him to do this. and you can always go and get something for him. that might make you feel better.

Guys like to do what they can... if what they can do is buy you things then that is what they will do. It's sort of the way guys show their feelings.. by doing something rather than just saying something. Let him - it's not hurting anything.

Let him do it. He wants to spoil you, you should be happy that you have a nice guy.
I wouldn't say anything. You'll soon see that these men are a rare commodity. Keep your man and shut your mouth. =) It makes him feel good, so let him do it.

You should tell him that your uncomfortable about this and you want to pay thing yourself, i think he'll understand. You should tell him right away before he gets broke.

I am not sure why you feel that way but you should not. Because he is only trying to be nice.
