I would give every homeless person in the world a home and a job. They'd only lose it it they messed up, were drunkards or addicts and went delinquent on their taxes. I'd clear all the prisons of simple offenders who did nothing heinous...like pot smokers. I'd replace Bush with the Dalai Lama, and for my grand finale...all stingrays would now only have sufficient poison to affect small fish. Not humans.

Convert myself into a nano/quantum technological construct like my character in the furry fandom.
Then I'd be immortal and nearly a god, so I could do all the rest by myself. :)

I think I'd start with massive US governmental reform and change us into something more like the EU--a number of smaller, self-governing countries with more local government.
Next I would mandate one hour per day when all television stations ceased broadcasting, all businesses closed down, and everyone read a book.
That's pretty much the big things.
