God never seems to have a plan that works, something always gets screwed up.

Of course, just like any dysfunctional relationship, the victim is to blame.

So, let me use a little reasoning here. You believe that your god is omnipotent and created the entire universe. That means, necessarily, that he also created all the physical laws that govern the universe and keep everything going smoothly. These laws are self apparent, things such as gravity are easily testable and repeatable. The same with all other natural laws. According to the evidence left by these 'divine' natural laws, THERE WAS NO GREAT FLOOD! Ever. Using the testable and repeatable laws that govern geology, there is absolutely no evidence that the earth was covered in a catostrophic flood. If you deny this evidence, you deny the laws that you claim your god created and set into motion. On a spiritual level, why would a omnipotent god ned to use something as slow and clumsy as a deluge to wipe out the 'bad' people? If he created the universe with a mere thought, couldnt he remove all the 'wicked' with another one? There is never any explanation for this illogical and arbitrary action, which means one of two things: either he is inconsistant and irrational which are not very flattering traits for an all-powerful deity, or for some reason he COULDNT remove the 'wicked' with a thought, which means he is NOT all-powerful. Think about this, then wake up and think for yourself.

BTW, the reason I placed the words 'wicked' and 'bad' in quotes is because the bible freely admits that the people during the flood were not actually breaking any of your gods laws, they simply were not worshipping him, so he decided to murder them. Sound familiar? If you have ever heard of Hitler, Stalin, Lenin and Mao Tze-Tung then you should be familar with the fact that they did the same thing. Is that the kind of god you want to worship?

Gen 9:21 And he drank from the wine, and was drunk. And he uncovered himself inside his tent.
Gen 9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father. And he told his two brothers outside.
Gen 9:23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment and put it on both their shoulders. And they went backward and covered the nakedness of their father, their faces backward. And they did not see the nakedness of their father.

Sorry, no indication of any sexual activity. Sin was not eradicated by the flood, it was still present in the hearts of Noah and his family.

Yeah. Something always goes wrong with God's plans. Go figure! God seems more like the Wizard of Oz every day. Or maybe the Nutty Professor.

God told Noah that he was not going to interfere with man anymore. That's when he became silent. That is also why he decided to sacrifice his son Jesus. To pay for our sins with a perfect sacrifice.God had to have way to offer redemption for the sinners on earth. His son was the only one who was rightous enough to defeat death, hell, and the grave.

If the rest of the world was worse than Noah's son, you have to wonder what they were up to. I'd like to see a Jerry Bruckheimer movie on that stuff.

In the bible (which you should read, it answers all questions)
It says God promised to NEVER flood the earth again, it was a one time thing to clear the world of its wickedness.
Next time something that outrageous happens it will be his coming to earth... all evil will once again pay horribly for there actions, all good will be rewarded soon after, all that serve Jesus Daily and have strong faith in his words will be spared from this treacherous torcher.

Because god isn't as pwerful as people make him out to be. Plus without sin there would be know need for a religon. Since everything is groovy.
