If we are going to go by what "was theirs," they would more or less have what they have now, if we are talking only about Mexico(which is only 57% of illegals, so what do you suggest we do with the rest of them?).
Until the Spainish came the Southwest belonged to Navajo, Hopi, Pueblo, Comanche, and other southwest tribes. They Spainish came and subdued these tribes after they subdued the tribes of what would be later known as Mexico.
So really, they have no more than what they had before.

You need to re-take history class. In the 1846-1848 US/Mexico war, Mexico LOST. War's over, 150 years ago, Mexico lost. And, AND, Mexico signed the Treaty Of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, and accepted the Gadsden Purchase.

US territories are now US states, not mexican states, Mexico has its' own states, and we should not be re-drawing the map for sob-stories. Mexico's got to develop economically, meaning they need to engage in global trade, and we need to keep OUR half of the treaty by enforcing the border more effectively.

Further, illegal aliens from Mexico and elsewhere have found their way to all 50 states. All. 50. States. So, no, don't accept illegal aliens in ANY state in the Union.

Support the US Border Patrol and employer enforcement! Or, wish you had, later...

I suggest you rethink that real quick missy. We here in the southwest don't like that kind of talk.We take our state of Arizona as it is OURS.You lost it.Your country lost the war,the land and everything. Its the city of Scottsdale in the state of Arizona in the country of The United States of America.....Get over your fantasy of ever taking this land. You would be in for a very rude awakening. We can protect what is ours.We know how to handle people that try to "take "our land.Don't let radical nut groups like La Raza get your behinds in a whole lot of trouble. We know and you know it will never happen so why not just put that fairy tale to rest Along with the mythical Aztlan fantasy.
Its almost 2007 and we live in the real world in the southwest

What do you mean "were theirs?" The land you mentioned was gained by treaty, almost 200 years ago.

What next, will France ask for the Louisiana Purchase back?

This country is in very sad shape, if so many people swallow this garbage. Do we have a death wish or something?

No, these states were never theirs to begin with. They belonged to the Native Americans who were there first. Illegals do not belong in any state and we are not turning back time or learning another language to accomodate them. Illegal means they broke the law.

No, because we would have to quarantine those states from the rest of the U.S.

Many illegal aliens harbor fatal diseases that American Medicine fought and vanquished long ago, such as drug-resistant tuberculosis, malaria, leprosy, plague, polio, dengue and Chagas disease.

NO, Texas was its own sovereign nation before, it merged with the U.S.. So all people that were living in Texas at the time became U.S. citizens.

The U.S. merging with Texas was another point in this countries history, it was good for America, and it was good for Texas.
