I've often wondered that same question...maybe "nothing" really smells bad, and we need to smell "something" for it to smell good? :)

because they are full of chemicals or "Natural Ingredients" which smell bad.
They normally put a scent in these product to cover the bad smell of the ingredients

unscented means no scent added but there are still natural or unnatural ingredients that are added that carry their own scent

Cos they havent added perfume and your getting the smell of the actual ingredients!
