okay, on mondays I do resistance training and I use light (2kg weights) I also either bike or jog/walk. The problem is I have dance the next day and I am usually sore (NOT in pain, just a little sore) this however makes it so I cant do my best. Anything I can do to make it so I am not sore and my muscles are ready to dance the next day? I really want to do this class! Also, is biking or jogging/walking morelikely to cause soreness? THANK YOU in advance

I do the resistance training 3 times a week, and I excercise throughout the week too, I just didn;t think it was relevant to the question

i've herad almonds have tons of free-radical fighting antioxidants that help prevent your muscles from breaking down further after a workout. also, cut out sodas, they are made with carbonic acid, which only helps lactic acid that makes you sore after a workout. milk and water are your friends. also potatoes have more potassium than bananas, and give you more energy. i think the first guy had a good idea, resistance training more often, it seems you're not used to it yet. how long have you been excersising with this routine? you should eventually get used to it and not ever be sore after a workout.

Most likely the problem is you are only doing the resistance training once a week, so by the time you do it again the muscles have to get used to it all over again. You should do it at least 3 times a week and that will get the soreness out. Also make sure you stretch your muscles before doing any workout.

i say dont do the resistance training the day before biking walking and joggin should be fine just dont do the resistense that makes you muscles even more sore. and if that doesnt help then dont work out the day before. the biking and stuff might cause it buf i think its more of the resistence. just test it one week skip the resistence and if your not sore the next day then keep doin that if you are then do resisence and not the biking and what not.. i hope this helps
