If a girl knows a man likes her, but she doesn't like the man, would she try to keep a distance with the guy? For example, no response for msn.
If the girl knows the man likes her and doesn't keep a distance to the man, does that mean the girl likes the man also or does that mean anything?

If you don't like a man, keep distant. If you are friendly he wil assume the feeling mutual.
Stop it now. Later it will harder on both of you.

Is is that you don't like him at all? Or just not "in that way?"
If you like him as a person, but not romantically, just be flat-out honest and say, "I enjoy your company, but I'm not interested in pursuing a relationship with you." If he persists, then remind him of this conversation. If he persists, then avoid him.
As for not keeping your distance, why aren't you? Is it because you want to be friends, or do you like the attention? If it's just for the attention, you should say something - leading someone on is not a nice thing to do.

First I would take in consideration what I don't like about him; how serious are the facts that turn me off. It could be a fixable problem like bad breath or underarm problems. But...If the problem is workable...as long as he can take honesty and he doesn't have a mental illness, then have a talk with him. Never, Ever, Ever marry because of money. I have met interesting men with money but how they carried themselves chased me away.

It doesn't mean anything. I know of men that like me, and I still chat with them. However, I work hard not to lead them on. They men I talk to, I like very much, but not in a romantic way. They are still nice guys.

If he told you out right that he likes you then tell him how you feel if not just continue being friends just try not to get to friendly either he will realize that your not interested or he will tell you how he feels.

Be polite, but distant. If he is persistent, tell him you are not interested. Don't let him believe you are playing hard to get.
