Smitty - I know you know your boxing but wouldnt you agree that Lewis hasn't done enough to be remembered as a Legend where as Hagler and Marciano are Legends in everyones eyes, i think he has to comeback and get some of his titles back to achieve any kind of Legendary status.

Lewis is wise enough to retire after the Klitscko Fight.
Where he was lucky to escape a TKO win due to Cuts.

He should be wise Enough to retire with his Health and millions in the Bank intact.

He may have an Unfinished business with Vitali but Vitali is also retired and running for Mayor in Ukraine. So Lennox has no Reason to comeback.

As for Legendary Status, Ithink he has done enough to be in the Top 20 Heavyweights.

P.S.
Starla_C When did Lennox Quits?
He escaped but not Quit. If you are referring to the Klitschko Fight.

Lewis should stay retired, enjoy his millions and his family, and his health. He was a credit to boxing and a good ambassador of the fight game. When it comes to legendary status he comes up short as other good champions have. A comeback wouldn't change this. Especially with the talent that is in the Heavyweight division currently.

Frank ~
In my opinion, Lennox is never going to make a come back. The one thing that he learned, although late in his career was that American fight fans thought he was boring that the American public is never going to consider him a "Great" Champion fighting the way he did. Read me out, please.
The one thing I think that we can both agree upon is that English fight fans are quick to call fighters from England "Great" like Naz, Hatton, Calzaghe and now Khan and it has been proven when they stepped up in competition that they are very ordinary fighters at best. Hattons, Clzaghes and Naz last fights proved that.
In America is where the money is at, other countries can call their fighters "Great" but somehow and for whatever the reason is, a fighter has to come to America and prove that he is "Great".
Lennox could have spent his whole career in England and the English fans would have called him "Great" but Lennox knew that you can't be "Great" unless you come to America. When Lennox did come he wasn't greeted with open arms, it was quite different for Lennox than it was in England. He was getting booed at every one of his fights in America. He tried chaging his style just a bit and started to get hit more, the fight with Vitali was a perfect example of that. Lennox realized that there was nothing he could do to please the American fight fans as a whole.
I think Lennox was good for boxing and I hope he stays away from the squared circle and enjoys his wealth and his health and leaves the boxing to the young guys.

Lennox in my opinion was a compliment to boxing and the heavyweight division. He was an excellent "pugilist specialist",and brilliant in and out of the ring. One of his greatest fighting accomplishments, however, was retiring with his health, glory, money and reputation worth noting. I dont think he'll be back in boxing except to continue commentating big fights.

He is going to be smart like Marciano and Hagler. He will stay retired. Age is the great equalizer in sports. Plus boxing dementia can be caused by fighting too long.

When the Klitchko's retire. Lewis got is *** whipped by Vitali and retired before giving him a rematch. Now Wladimir has a chance to get in his ***. He is an over-rated scared English biyach.
