If so, how can I do it safely with out damaging my hair strands?

you can cut your own hair. it's not going to hurt anything. just make sure that you cut a little higher than where the split ends. when you wash your hair condition it, making sure to get the ends really good. they are the driest part of the hair.

yes, i do it all the time. just, trim your hair every few months. more if needed. when your hair is wet, best if out of the shower... brush it straight and i flip my headupside down to trim it so i know im getting it all even. or you can have someone do it for u. just cut a straight line of a little hair across. even if u make a mistake its jsut a trim and wont even be notcieable.

there is this thing called a splitender. u will see it on the shopping channel. it only cuts off the hair that is split. its abt £50. dnt know if it good.

when i used to get bored i just took some scissors and and started cutting, I don't think that you are hurting your hair that way.

ya it's ok....but getting it done by a proffesional is better cuzz sometimes doing it urself can cause more split ends

yes. why not? just trim the hair with scissors cutting off as little as possible.

no, don't cut them , use a safer way, like using a shampoo like heads and shoulders, i'm from england, so i don't know if ur country sells that.

juist go to the hair cut place lol and tell them to do it for you it is easier
