Try a face lotion with alpha hydroxy. And make sure you put some on before you go to sleep. It will help hydrate your skin as you rest.
And if you take a bath, try tossing a bag of chamomile tea into the water. Or a cup of oatmeal. (I like to grind mine in a coffee bean grinder first.) Put lotion on your arms, legs and face right after the bath to hold in more moisture. Just be careful around your toes, because too much miosture there can cause the skin to crack.
And drink plenty of water. A lot of dry skin comes from being dehydrated.

Most of us are gifted with beautiful skin but are not careful in preserving its original texture. Therefore during the climatic changes the tone of the skin changes and turns rough. If you regularly provide nutrition to the skin it is likely to remain glowing.
The food we consume also has a bearing on the way our skin looks. Foods containing greasy, oily and fatty substances make the oil glands overactive and therefore we are more likely to face various skin problems. Water is a very good as it cleanses the skin pores. It fights against all the toxins in the body. Therefore it is necessary to consume 8-10 glasses of water per day.
Besides, scheduling an exercise program everyday is very good. The excessive oily substances are drained from your body through the sweat that is produced when you exercise. The workouts also relieve you from all types of stress that reflect on your face
directly.
Take care of your skin by applying the proper type of lotions or creams. Do not use the products that contain strong chemicals as it could ruin your skin. Do not smoke because it directly affects your skin and speeds up your ageing process.

I use Arbonne Awaken Sea Salt Scrub, lotion and body wash. It is amazing what a difference you will see. It is a bit pricey (I paid $50-60 for all 3 items) if you buy it new but it lasts for quite some time. The scrub has some kind of oil in it that makes your skin so soft and the salts scrub away the dry and dead skin. I highly recommend this product!
If you can't find a consultant near you, there are some great deals on eBay! A lot of sellers even sell the entire collection in one lot!

This might sound bizzarre. But if one lays in the Dead Sea for 10 minutes and then takes a shower, their skin ends up being extra soft. See if a spa has something like that.

use olive or almond oil liberally. Massage your skin with warm oil before going to bed and before taking bath. And you can also add a spoon of olive oil to your bathing water for velvet smooth skin. Drink plenty of water include fresh fruits and juices to your diet.

Exfoliate like crazy in the shower, don't use really hot water, and just pat your skin dry - then slather on a good lotion neck to toe.

Scrub daily. It's the dead cells that make your skin look dull.
