Hello everyone. I do have an eye obstruction since I was child. My parents never found any doctor at that time that could tell them what it was. Therefore, they tought probably it would desapear itself with time. The thing is that it didn't pass. Now that I'm 32y it gets worst sometimes and is very uncomphortable. The symptom in case that someone knows, is a constant tear fall from eyes. I've seen a doctor in Toronto, who told me that I would need to go probably for a surgery because it's an obstruction that I have. But he didn't ensure me that it would solve the problem. Please if you have ever heard about a similar case, in which the person had to go for a surgery and got better please let me know. Even if there is another remedy to this, I would like to know. I really pray that I find the permanent cure for this long time eye obstruction. Thanks and may God bless.

I know that my reply probably won't help you out much. But I had to say something because I have an eye obstruction in my left eye. I've had it since I was a little kid myself. I'm 25 now. I've had the surgery 2 times now and it didn't work either time. To my knowledge there is no other way of getting past it. But then that is just to MY knowledge. Ya know? There may be some other person out there who knows of an alternative. Anyhow, I know how you feel with this eye thing. It's rather annoying isn't it? Just thought that I would let you know that you're not the only one out there who has this eye obstruction. Anyhow, I hope you find what you are looking for answer wise. Hopefully someone out there can tell you of another alternative for the surgery, because it really doesnt work.

It depends upon what used to be CAUSING the obstruction. With a kitten that used to be as in poor health as yours used to be, the surgical procedure WOULD had been VERY dicy. My wager could be that the kitten had an intussusception, wherein the intestines telescope in on every different. It is feasible that the intestines have been too badly broken to be salvaged. As to the opposite vet you known as, alas, there are vets available in the market that don't wish to manage critical disorders and surgical procedure. They are content material with giving vaccines. If you felt that the vet did whatever mistaken, you might have taken the frame to one more vet and had them do a necropsy to discover out why the kitten used to be so in poor health, and if the vet made a nasty name.
