I have a blue pit bull puppy, although he's active, playful, etc...he still looks like a baby pit bull (he looks normal though)...I'm saying this because I had a red nose pit bull about less then a month ago, and when my red nose was 8 weeks old, he looked a little more bigger and grown.

8 weeks old is far too young to guage the adult size..Your pup is likely from a larger litter than the last one, which means born smaller and growing a little slower...The only way to tell how large he is likely to be, is by seeing the parents..

When my dogs have a litter of 9 or 10, the pups are tiny! However, if the litter is 4 or 5, they are at least twice as large..and they grow faster, as mom has more milk to go around...However, all grow to be the same size when grown..The females are most likely to be the size of the mom, and the males are most likely to be the size of the dad, with a few exceptions..(my dogs are all of breed standard size..this doesn't hold true with parents of extremely different size backgrounds)

In some breeds, the specific sizes of a dog can range a little and determined much by the parents. I don't know if that's normal for Pits, but maybe mom and dad were on the smaller side of the scale for the breed standard?

Maybe hes the runt of his famile? If you dont know what that is then it is when the dOg was born it was very small and it will remane small, and usually the farmers will kill then 'cuse they are no help and usually the mean ones and will die soon.... But maybe the vet will know whats coseing this

Some dogs may not grow as fast as others-Like people, some at an age can be super big and others really small

he is probably the runt of the litter. Just because he is smaller doesn't mean there is anything wrong with him.
