I like all of the silly movies that are made by Adam Sander w/ Rod Schneider. I like of the Bruce Lee/Jet Lei movies. I love the Lord of Rings and lastly Star Wars.

I think a deep movie to watch would have to be The Hours.It's very well put together and has a strong baseline to it.
Then of course if it's comedy you're after Zoolander has to be the funniest non-brainer movie ever. "I'm really really really ridiciously good looking."
