Yes, Jesus loves and cares for each individual. He died for the whole of mankind!

Jesus loves the whosoever
of whatever land they be
and He gently calls them to Him
to salvation full and free.

If the mythical love of a mythical being who hasn't been seen or heard from in the 2000 years or so since he was executed by the Romans makes you feel good, then you go right ahead and believe.

Those of us with rational minds want no part of the fairy tale, and we don't worry about gnashing our teeth in a burning hell, since that doesn't exist. We'd much rather make the most of this life that we have, the only one anybody knows of, and try to make the world a better place instead of living for after we die.

No, I dont think he does.

EDIT: How can you state that as fact? You have no proof, other then the Bible. Which has been written, rewritten and editied so many time, no one knows what it really siad when it first started as oral stories. Thats the problem with religion. You come in here, state things as fact and in no way do you back up your statments.
You let a BOOK control your life. Stop, take your life back and live it as YOU want to, not as some mythical "god" wants you to.

So -- what you are saying is that it is your fault that Jesus was put to death?

As Patti Smith says -- "Jesus died for somebody's sins -- but not mine." I'm happy to take responsibility for my own actions -- and wish you would, too.

I say a man who lived 2000 years ago didn't know me, can't know me, and therefore did not die for me. If he claimed to, then I, just as did Pilate, wash my hands of his blood.
